New Himantayon Theme Released

My good friends “Himan” and “Tayon” somehow manipulated me into designing a new theme for them. I don’t know how it happened, really. All I know is that I woke up one day inexplicably compelled to work for free.

For the love of Himantayon.com and everything it stands for, I proudly unveil the Himantayon Pro theme, a highly customized mod for the very popular BloggingPro theme.

Truth is, I’m not ready to release this yet. But Himan (that shrewd, cunning bastard!) just announced in the CBox that Himantayon version 2.0 will be released in a few minutes. There are actually people waiting to refresh their browsers to see the website’s new look. Argghhh! Talk about underhanded!

So, okay. I’m releasing the theme, bugs and all. I have no choice, really. I’ve been had. Serves me right for dealing with the likes of them.

Note: I’ll be releasing this design (with slight modifications, of course) as a free theme for public use as soon as I clean up my code. You have no idea how messed up it is right now. And you have no idea how much I’d really, really love to kill Himan right now.

Perhaps I should turn the spotlight on Himan and Tayon for my next “10 Things” post, huh? That would be the perfect revenge. Unfortunately, if I do that, I’d have to move to another continent and change my identity because those two will eat me alive. Knowing them, they’d hunt me to the ends of the earth, too.

PS: I kid. I love Himan and Tayon. Can’t get enough of Himantayon.com, in fact. So, all things considered, they’re doing me a huge favor by allowing me to contribute to “the cause” in whatever way I can. (or so I keep telling myself )

Yan (a.k.a. Yannie, YanYan) is a young-ish entrepreneur, writer, poet, artist, graphic designer, web geek, lover, friend, daughter, connoisseur, gourmand, amateur chef, coffee addict, control freak, and incessant dreamer. Not necessarily in that order.

Man, we owe you big time! Sorry for the kakulitan and sorry for announcing it earlier in CBox. When I saw the prototype, I just couldn’t help but get really excited!
