How to Customize the Dark Red Zone Theme

If you wish to customize the Dark Red Zone theme for Wordpress with your own header, just follow these easy steps:

Download the header Photoshop file here. Replace the top layer with your own logo. Make sure that the logo does not exceed the boundaries of the guide marks. Crop the area within the guides and save the file as logo.gif. This file should be 360×60 pixels. Upload logo.gif to wp-content/themes/dark-red-zone/images/.

Open header.php file and look for the following:

<a href="<?php bloginfo('home'); ?>">
<?php bloginfo('name'); ?></a>
<!-- img class="logo" src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>
/images/logo.gif" alt="" / -->

And change it to this:

<a href="<?php bloginfo('home'); ?>">
<img class="logo" src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/logo.gif"
alt="Name of Your Blog Here" /></a>

Save and refresh. And that’s it. You’re done.

Hey I love what you’ve done with your site and the red theme also. I can’t decide which to use so I’d like to try them both on my site.

However …

I’m wondering if you can help me because the dark_black theme link/website is not working and I don’t know where else to download it from. Any ideas?

Hi, Cindy! Thanks for dropping by. Glad you like what I’ve done here.

I really don’t know what happened to OneMoreRevision. I thought the downtime was temporary, but it’s been going on for months.

I don’t think I still have the original Dark Theme. Let me do some digging in my archives, okay? I’ll post a download link here if I do find the original files. Wish me luck!

really sorry about the theme change. i was getting tired of the dark theme. or maybe i’m just jumping on the magazine layout bandwagon.

the dark red zone is still available for download, though.
