In no particular order of importance, here are 10 things you should know about Yanyan:

1. She is one of the Furies, the Kindly Ones, the Three Fates. She is the nice one, the mother figure. Yes, Yan. You are the mother figure.
2. She has an incredible fear of roaches. A mere “Ey, cockroach” can send her scampering to her room that will put the world’s fastest living thing to shame. Oh, and then she locks her room.
3. She eats words for breakfast, lunch, and dinner paired with a HUGE mug of coffee.
4. She is a wonderful writer and an amazing artist. I want to be as creative as her when I grow up.
5. After all the teasing and the arguments, she really, truly loves her family.
6. She goes through a monthly neurosis with such flare and drama. It’s like having your own teleserye. Sure as hell beats the ones on TV.
7. She has such an amazing concentration that she can’t hear you. She says she’s kinda deaf. Or, is she really? Hmmm…nice strategy, Yan.
8. She believes that people are inherently good. Don’t ask me why. I’m still confused.
9. She has the ability to be awake for days on end. She goes a little nutty, this is true. But she’s AWAKE FOR DAYS.
10. She is mind-bogglingly patient. She waited about 3 weeks for my list.
