FUBARgenre: The Genre of Fubar

I’m writing this from a 7-year old laptop that’s practically falling apart at the seams. This is the only working computer in our entire geekdom today. Imagine that.

I truly apologize for the 48 or so hours that this blog has been down. I wasn’t monitoring my stats, and I was unprepared when the traffic suddenly spiked. I apologize for whatever inconvenience this may have caused you. I will do my best to prevent this from happening in the future.

I would rather believe that this is all over, but the heat still sizzles in the comment thread of my initial post regarding Malu Fernandez and her bigotry. Elsewhere, several like-minded individuals refuse to accept her apology.
It seems that a lot of people are only just catching up. And who can blame them for lashing [...]

Apparently, our message has been heard. Malu Fernandez has officially resigned from Manila Standard Today and People Asia Magazine.

It seems that the pinoy blogosphere has united under a common hatred for one Malu Fernandez, a self-proclaimed “diva” who, by her own admission, needs 17 kg of makeup and accessories to look remotely human.
